Fruit Stone Powder and Grits

Fruits have been used in a variety of applications for thousands of years, from health and beauty to construction. With the growing popularity of clean and natural products, there is more and more demand for natural, plastic-free alternatives to other materials. Fruit stone is a good solution to this need, as it is an inexpensive natural material which uses the discarded waste from fruit production.

Fruit stone powder and grits are often used in face and body scrubs, anti-slip paints and coatings, and to make durable chipboard.

In cosmetics, scrubs, and household applications, fruit stone powders are an excellent, sustainable alternative to microplastics, making them popular with those who are tackling climate change.

Fruit stone powder and grits also has advantages over other natural granules such as nut, wood, corn, cellulose, silica, and pumice. It can be made to have fairly uniform grains and has a low chance of inducing allergic reactions (unlike nut grains), making it an excellent choice for sensitive skin products.

Fruit stone products also have high grain stability and hardness, so its perfect for abrasive applications such as heavy duty cleaners or non-slip coatings.

It is also cosmetic approved as it contains low levels of bio-content and can be sterilised as required.
